Portugal Visa Process From Nepal

 Portugal is a southern European small country. its located on the hand of the Atlantic ocean. Portugal is the only Schengen country that welcomes immigrants from every nation. 



The current data shows that almost 40000 Nepalese people living and working in Portugal.

Today I'm going to explain that how to get a Portuguese work visa and how to apply for it. 

Who Needs a Portuguese work visa? 

EU citizens don't need a visa or work permit to live and work in Portugal.  Most of the Non-EU countries need work permits and visas for employment in Portugal. 
 Non-EU citizens will need to find the employer first. You should search for a job offer on several sites like LinkedIn, Net-empregos, sapo.pt, olx and several Facebook page and groups. When you found the employer they will provide you a job offer letter. 


 

The Visa application process:

Along with the completed visa application, the following documents must be submitted for a visa:

Valid passport with at least two blank pages
Letter of invitation from the employer or other documents indicating the purpose of the trip
Proof of health insurance and accident insurance
color copy of passport
Biometric data such as fingerprints and digital image recognition
PNR flight booking
Proof of accommodation in Portugal, such as residential address or hotel reservation
The visa will provide entry to Portugal. There is a different process for obtaining a work permit. To apply for a work permit, or Autorização de Trabalho, employees will need to provide the following documents:



Valid Portuguese residence visa

Proof of residence in Portugal
Valid passport
Two passport photographs in color
Appropriate tax documents
Background inspection of criminal record
Lease agreement
Proof of registration with Social Security
